Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Jamaican Rum
  • 1.5 oz Gold Rum
  • 1 oz 151-Prrof Demerara Rum
  • 3 Drops Absinthe
  • 0.5 oz Falernum
  • 0.5 oz Donn’s mix*
  • 1 Teaspoon Grenadine
  • 0.75 oz fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
For Garnish:
  • Mint Sprig
Preparation:
  • Put all ingredients in a blender and add 6 oz crushed  ice. Blend at high speed for up to 5 seconds maximum. Pour the mix in a hurricane glass and add ice cubes to fill.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig.

  • *Donn’s Mix:
    • 3 crushed cinnamon sticks. 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water. Boil the ingredients and keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
    • Simmer for 2 minutes then remove from the heat and let sit for at least 2 hours before straining in a clean glass bottle.
    • Add 1 part of the prepared syrup and 2 part of fresh grapefruit juice together.
