Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Blended Scotch
  • 0.75 oz fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz Honey-Ginger Syrup*
  • 0.25 oz Single-Malt Scotch
For Garnish:
  • Candied Ginger
Preparation:
  • Add the blended scotch, lemon juice and syrup in a shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake well and strain in a rocks glass over ice.
  • Top up single-malt scotch.
  • Garnish with pieces of candied ginger.

  • *Honey-Ginger Syrup:
    • Combine 1 cup honey, 1 6-inch piece of peeled and thinly sliced ginger and 1 cup water in a saucepan over high heat, and bring to a boil.
    • Reduce heat to medium, and simmer 5 minutes.
    • Place in the refrigerator to steep overnight. Strain with a cheesecloth.
